(WNY News Now) – A violent stabbing on Seymour Street Thursday morning has left a man in his 40s fighting for his life, as Syracuse Police continue their investigation.
Syracuse, NY – On Thursday, October 17th, Syracuse Police officers responded to a distressing report of a stabbing in the 300 block of Seymour Street at approximately 9:48 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his 40s suffering from multiple stab wounds to his head and neck area.
The victim was immediately transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he remains in serious condition as of this report. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim.
The Syracuse Police Department has launched an active and ongoing investigation into the incident. Detectives are working to gather more information about what led to the attack, but no suspects have been named, and no arrests have been made at this time.
