(WNY News Now) – A federal grand jury has indicted a Jamestown couple on multiple drug charges following an extensive investigation involving narcotics, firearms, and a dramatic pursuit across state lines.
BUFFALO, N.Y.—The U.S. Attorney’s Office announced that Jensen Vazquez, 38, and Kylah Seiberg, 29, both of Jamestown, NY, face federal charges of narcotics conspiracy, possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, and maintaining a drug-involved premises. If convicted, they could face a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison, with a maximum sentence of life.
The indictment follows a series of events that began in August 2024 when Vazquez, already on federal supervised release, provided false information about his residence to his probation officer. Police responded to a 911 call at the Victoria Avenue address on August 17 regarding a shooting incident involving a victim who survived and implicated Vazquez in an alleged firearm transaction.
During the investigation, authorities executed a search warrant, uncovering significant quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and paraphernalia. A firearm matching the caliber of the bullet used in the shooting was recovered from Seiberg’s vehicle. The couple fled to Florida shortly thereafter, evading law enforcement for weeks.
On September 3, officers apprehended the pair after a tense standoff at the Victoria Avenue residence. Seiberg initially attempted to escape through a second-story window but was taken into custody, while Vazquez was found hiding in the attic. Further searches revealed additional fentanyl quantities, including seven grams concealed on Seiberg’s person while in custody.
The investigation involved the Jamestown Police Department, the DEA, and the U.S. Probation Office. Authorities remind the public that an indictment is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
