(WNY News Now) – A 911 hangup led Cattaraugus County deputies to a domestic altercation in Leon, resulting in multiple charges against a 48-year-old man.
Leon, NY – On November 30, 2024, at approximately 11:23 a.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 hangup call originating from 7308 Route 62 in Leon. Upon arrival, deputies investigated the situation and discovered a physical altercation involving Christopher P. Green, 48, his wife, and his stepson.
The investigation revealed that Green engaged in actions leading to charges of Harassment in the Second Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child (three counts), and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.
Following the incident, Green was arrested and issued an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Leon Court before Judge H. Abers on a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
