(WNY News Now) – A Little Valley woman was arrested early on November 25, 2024, following a domestic incident involving her granddaughter, according to Sheriff Eric A. Butler.

On November 25, 2024, at approximately 4:09 AM, Sarah L. Foster, 52, of 412 Fair Oak Street, Little Valley, NY, was taken into custody after authorities responded to a reported domestic disturbance. Upon investigation, Foster was identified as the aggressor in the altercation, which involved her granddaughter.

Foster was arrested by deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and transported for processing. She was subsequently issued an appearance ticket for violations under New York State Penal Laws 260.10-1 and 240.26-1, which relate to harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.

Following her release on the appearance ticket, Foster is scheduled to appear before the Town of Little Valley Court at a later date for further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
