(WNY News Now) – Nathan C. Bilby of Olean, NY, was taken into custody on October 9, 2024, at 4:09 p.m., following a court-scheduled appearance. The arrest was based on a warrant issued by the Town of Little Valley Court. According to Sheriff Eric A. Butler, Bilby faces charges under New York Penal Law 130.65 (Sexual Abuse in the First Degree) and 130.52 (Forcible Touching).
Bilby was subsequently arraigned before Judge Wrona in the Town of Little Valley Court. Despite the severity of the charges, he was released on his own recognizance with no bail set. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
