(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY — A 23-year-old Jamestown woman was arrested on December 14, 2024, after allegedly threatening a male victim with a pair of scissors during a domestic dispute. Sabrina Sample is facing charges of Menacing in the second degree.

At approximately 8:55 PM on the evening of December 14, Jamestown Police responded to a residence on the city’s West Side following reports of a domestic altercation. Officers arrived on the scene and initiated an investigation. It was determined that Sample had raised a pair of scissors with the blades pointed directly at the victim, making threatening remarks to stab him.

Sample was taken into custody without incident and transported to the City Jail. She was charged with Menacing in the second degree and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
