(WNY News Now) – Two Roy-Hart students, Isabella Sanchez and Timothy Guilfoyle, were recognized for their heroic actions in averting disaster during a bus emergency, ensuring the safety of their driver and classmates.

Jonathan Schultz, Director of the Niagara County Emergency Services Department, was joined by local officials to proudly recognize two Roy-Hart Students, Isabella Sanchez and Timothy Guilfoyle this past Wednesday during a Board of Education Meeting.  Isabella and Timothy are being celebrated for their heroic actions on November 6th, 2024 when their bus driver experienced a health emergency mid bus route. Isabella and Timothy’s quick thinking and response lead to the safety of their driver and fellow students. NCEMS commends them for their bravery.
