(WNY News Now) – A 34-year-old man was stabbed to death outside a Brooklyn deli early this morning, prompting a swift police response and an ongoing investigation.
A fatal stabbing occurred early today outside Mucho Loca Deli, located on Sutter Avenue in Brooklyn, leaving a 34-year-old man dead from multiple stab wounds. The incident took place at approximately 6:50 a.m. when the victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was attacked with a knife.
Authorities were called to the scene after a 911 report indicated a possible shooting, but upon arrival, they discovered the victim had suffered significant stab wounds to his torso, chest, and back. Emergency medical personnel quickly transported the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
In response to the attack, the police department launched a Level 1 mobilization and canvassed the area for the suspect.
This case is under investigation by the NYPD’s homicide division, with detectives working to uncover the circumstances leading up to the deadly altercation. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward as they work to piece together the events surrounding this tragic incident.
