(WNY News Now) – A late-night search in Great Valley results in the seizure of methamphetamine and a firearm, leading to arrests on drug and weapon charges.

On December 17, 2024, at approximately 9:45 PM, law enforcement officials executed a search warrant at 4228 Bear Hollow Rd in Great Valley, New York, following an investigation into illegal drug activity. The operation, carried out by the Southern Tier Regional Task Force (STRDTF) with assistance from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (CCSO SRT), led to the discovery of methamphetamine and a 30-30 rifle at the residence.

David Dille, 51, a Great Valley resident, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree. Nathaniel Dubois II, 49, of Buffalo, New York, was also arrested on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree.

Both individuals were arraigned in the Town of Ellicottville Court and are being held pending further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
