(WNY News Now) – A two-month narcotics investigation culminated in a search warrant execution at 107 Lincoln Ave., resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of drugs, cash, and paraphernalia.

DUNKIRK, NY — In a decisive effort to combat local narcotics activity, law enforcement executed a search warrant at 107 Lincoln Ave., Lower Apartment, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at approximately 7:27 a.m. The operation, led by Dunkirk Police, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, and the Jamestown Police Department, yielded significant results.

Investigators seized 9.9 grams of methamphetamine, 5.4 grams of fentanyl, cocaine, scales, packaging materials, and $5,634 in cash. The operation led to the arrest of four individuals on drug-related charges:

  • Vieon Santos, 59, Dunkirk: Charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
  • Donald Tolbert, 51, Fredonia: Charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
  • Derek Saxton, 43, Fredonia: Charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd.
  • Juan Ortiz, 41, Dunkirk: Charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th and an outstanding arrest warrant from Fredonia.

All suspects were taken to the Dunkirk Police Department and later arraigned in City of Dunkirk Court.

During the operation, City of Dunkirk Building Inspectors evaluated the property and deemed it uninhabitable, condemning the premises.
