(WNY News Now) – SYRACUSE, NY — A man in his 20s was hospitalized Thursday evening following a shooting on Weiser Court, authorities report.
Syracuse Police were alerted around 7:11 p.m. after the victim arrived at Upstate University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg. The victim is currently in stable condition, police confirmed.
Initial investigations revealed the shooting took place in the 100 block of Weiser Court shortly before 7 p.m. The exact circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear.
