(WNY News Now) – A routine warrant execution in Olean leads to the arrest of a 45-year-old man on serious contraband and drug charges.

Olean, NY — In the early hours of December 21, 2024, Cattaraugus County Sheriff Eric A. Butler reported the arrest of Justin T. Spencer, 45, at 101 E. State St., Olean, New York. Deputies executed an arrest warrant issued by the Town of Little Valley Court, apprehending Spencer at approximately 1:00 a.m.

Spencer faces charges for Introducing Dangerous Contraband into a Prison in the First Degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. Following his arrest, Spencer was transported to the Town of Little Valley Court, where he was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail without bail.

Spencer is scheduled for further proceedings in Cattaraugus County Court on a date yet to be determined. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
