(WNY News Now) – NIAGARA FALLS, NY — A 60-year-old Niagara Falls man, Mark A. Smith, was arrested on felony drug charges following an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force. Sheriff Michael Filicetti announced the arrest on December 17, 2024, at approximately 9:56 PM.
Smith was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 2nd degree, a felony offense. He is currently being held at the Niagara County Jail pending arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
