(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a Randolph woman on January 25 following an unrelated incident, discovering an active felony bench warrant in her name.

RANDOLPH, NY – On Saturday, January 25, 2025, at approximately 3:25 PM, deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ashley M. Waite, 36, of Randolph, New York, on Main Street.

Authorities reported that Waite was taken into custody during an unrelated incident when a check revealed she had an active felony bench warrant issued by the Cattaraugus County Criminal Court.

Following her arrest, Waite was transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail. She is being held without bail and will remain in custody until her next court appearance. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
