(WNY News Now) – BUFFALO, N.Y. — The National Weather Service (NWS) in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for multiple counties across Western New York, effective from 4 p.m. Saturday, February 7, through 10 a.m. Sunday, February 9.

Snowfall and Travel Impact

The advisory warns of 2 to 5 inches of snowfall expected to accumulate across Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany counties. Motorists should plan for slippery road conditions as snow-covered roads and reduced visibility could impact travel.
