(WNY News Now) – LOCKPORT, N.Y. – A Lockport man was taken into custody on felony drug charges following an investigation by the Niagara County Drug Task Force, authorities announced.
Sheriff Michael Filicetti reported that Jonathan S. Frey, 25, was arrested on February 4, 2025, at approximately 10 a.m. at a Niagara Street Extension address in the Town of Lockport. Frey faces multiple felony charges, including two counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell.
Following his arrest, Frey was transported to the Niagara County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment. The investigation was conducted by the Niagara County Drug Task Force, with Deputy David Ganz assigned to the case under the supervision of Captain Thomas Huff. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
