(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY — A 33-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly threatening a victim with a kitchen knife on the evening of February 22, 2025. Racquel A. Keller, a Jamestown resident, was arrested and charged with Menacing in the Second Degree following the incident.
At approximately 9:25 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department were called to a residence on the city’s South Side after a report of an unwanted person. Officers had initially responded to the same address earlier that evening for the same issue. Upon returning, authorities were informed that Keller had threatened the victim by pointing the blade of a kitchen knife at them and walking toward the individual in a threatening manner.
Following the confrontation, Keller was taken into custody without incident. She was transported to the City Jail, where she is being held pending arraignment. The charges against Keller include Menacing in the Second Degree, a criminal offense that involves using a weapon to place another person in fear of imminent physical injury.
Keller is expected to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date to address the charges against her. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
