(WNY News Now) – LOCKPORT, NY – Gregory Noonan, 25, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting two women in 2021 and 2022, Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced.

Noonan previously pleaded guilty to two counts of Attempted Rape in the First Degree. County Court Judge Caroline Wojtaszek imposed the sentence and ordered an additional 15 years of post-release supervision.

“This sentence ensures that a dangerous predator will be off the streets for a very long time,” Seaman stated. “I hope it provides some small amount of solace to the victims of these terrible crimes.”

The Niagara Falls Police Department investigated the case, and Special Victims Unit Bureau Chief Heather Nicholson prosecuted it.
