(WNY News Now) – GREAT VALLEY, N.Y. – A federal warrant arrest resulted in the seizure of crystal methamphetamine and cash in Cattaraugus County, authorities report.

On February 21, 2025, at approximately 4:35 p.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, arrested 51-year-old David Dille Jr. on a federal complaint warrant at a residence on Bear Hollow Road.

During the arrest, law enforcement officers discovered approximately one ounce of crystal methamphetamine and $2,150 in U.S. currency in Dille’s possession.

Dille is being held without bail and is scheduled to appear for arraignment in federal court on February 24, 2025. The Drug Enforcement Administration’s Buffalo office will handle additional charges related to the drug investigation. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
