(WNY News Now) – HANOVER, NY – A late-night crash on Buffalo Road led to the arrest of a 29-year-old Angola man on DWI charges, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene around 11:09 p.m. on March 27, where they identified Jacob J. Keefe as the driver involved in the motor vehicle accident. Upon investigation, authorities determined that Keefe was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
Keefe was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), speed not reasonable and prudent, and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
He is scheduled to appear in Town of Hanover Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
