(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A Jamestown man was taken into custody Thursday evening after police responded to a domestic incident on the city’s west side.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the second platoon arrived at a residence around 6:00 p.m. on March 27, 2025, following a report of a domestic dispute. Upon investigation, authorities determined that Ralph R. Patterson, 45, had allegedly threatened a victim at the scene.
Officers, already aware of outstanding warrants for Patterson’s arrest, located him a short distance from the residence. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. In addition to his existing warrants, Patterson was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree.
He is currently being held at the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
