(WNY News Now) – FREDONIA, NY – A 19-year-old from Tonawanda was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 20 early Sunday morning.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle at approximately 2:38 a.m. on March 30 in the Village of Fredonia. The driver, identified as John M. Fierro, was found to be intoxicated.
Fierro was taken into custody and charged with DWI and speeding in a posted zone. He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Fredonia Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
