(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, N.Y. – A Pennsylvania man was arrested late Saturday night following a traffic stop in the City of Salamanca, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael Allman, 55, of Dubois, PA, was taken into custody on March 29, 2025, at approximately 11:28 p.m. after deputies observed him failing to use a turn signal on Wildwood Avenue. During the stop, Allman exhibited signs of intoxication, prompting a roadside investigation.

Authorities determined Allman’s blood alcohol content (BAC) exceeded the legal limit, resulting in multiple charges, including Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (BAC over 0.18%), Driving While Intoxicated (BAC over 0.08%), and Driving While Intoxicated Per Se.

Allman was processed and released with an appearance ticket for a future court date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
