(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated after crashing into a parked vehicle on the city’s East Side early Saturday morning.
On April 5, 2025, at approximately 12:47 AM, officers from the third platoon responded to a motor vehicle accident on the East Side of Jamestown. Upon arrival, police determined that the driver, identified as 39-year-old Amy M. Ginnetti of Jamestown, had struck a parked vehicle while operating her vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
Following the investigation, Ginnetti was arrested on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (AGDWI), and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree. Her BAC was recorded at over 0.18%, which exceeds the legal limit for aggravated DWI.
Ginnetti was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is being held pending her arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
