(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A Jamestown man has been arrested following a neighbor dispute that escalated into threats of violence.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. on April 4, 2025, officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a reported neighbor dispute on the West side of the city. Upon investigation, police learned that 36-year-old David D. Lindsay Sr. had allegedly threatened his neighbor with a knife in front of children.

Lindsay was immediately apprehended without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is facing charges of Menacing in the Second Degree and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

Lindsay is being held in custody pending his arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
