(WNY News Now) – Police arrested a 21-year-old Jamestown woman Saturday afternoon following a reported domestic incident on the city’s west side.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On April 5, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s first platoon responded to a report of an unwanted person at a west side residence.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Mariah Crandall, 21, of Jamestown, in violation of an active order of protection issued by Jamestown City Court.
Crandall was arrested at the scene without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. She has been charged with Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor in New York State.
She is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
