(WNY News Now) – A Salamanca woman faces multiple charges after authorities linked her to a March motor vehicle crash in Great Valley involving alleged intoxicated driving.

GREAT VALLEY, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 27-year-old Angelique Trinidad of Salamanca, NY, in connection to a motor vehicle crash that occurred in March 2025 on Route 219.

Trinidad was taken into custody in the early hours of April 10, 2025, following an investigation that determined she had been operating a vehicle while intoxicated at the time of the crash. According to deputies, she was processed at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and released shortly afterward.

She is facing the following charges:

  • Driving While Intoxicated
  • Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.08% or Higher
  • Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree
  • Unlicensed Operation
  • Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent
  • Moving from Lane Unsafely

Trinidad was issued an appearance ticket and multiple uniform traffic tickets. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Great Valley Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
