(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown resident is facing charges following a domestic dispute that led to property damage on the city’s east side.

JAMESTOWN – On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at approximately 9:40 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a domestic incident at a residence on the east side of the city.

According to police, the investigation revealed that 22-year-old Selena M. Santiago allegedly threw a cell phone at a window during the dispute, causing the window to break.

Santiago was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. She has been charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor under New York State law.

She is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
