(WNY News Now) – Freedom, NY – A 61-year-old man was arrested on April 18, 2025, following a domestic dispute in which he struck his stepson.

At approximately 2:32 p.m., Brian D. Price of Freedom, NY, was taken into custody by local authorities after being accused of harassing his stepson. Price faces charges of harassment in the second degree after allegedly striking the victim during the altercation.

In addition to the harassment charge, Price was also charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree. This charge stems from Price’s interference with the ongoing investigation related to the incident.

Following his arrest, Price was arraigned in Freedom Town Court. He was released from custody and is scheduled to return to court at a later date for further legal proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
