JAMESTOWN – On Friday morning, April 18, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon responded to a report of an erratic driver in the city’s northside business area.

Upon locating the vehicle and conducting a traffic stop, officers identified the driver as Mattie L. Larson, a 21-year-old Jamestown resident. Following further investigation, it was determined that Larson was operating the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.

Larson was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. His blood alcohol content was found to be .18% or higher, leading to a charge of Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.
