(WNY News Now) – A coordinated search warrant execution at a Jamestown apartment resulted in multiple felony drug and weapon charges, as well as the seizure of fentanyl, cocaine, a firearm, and drug paraphernalia.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On Monday, April 21, 2025, at approximately 2:40 p.m., the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at an upper apartment located at 26 W 9th Street in Jamestown. The operation followed an investigation into reported narcotics sales at the location.
The Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team led the entry and located 14 individuals inside the residence. During the entry, investigators observed items being discarded from a window. A subsequent search of the premises led to the discovery of 4.1 grams of cocaine, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine, 28.8 grams of fentanyl, $195 in cash, digital scales, packaging materials, and a handgun.







As a result of the search and investigation, the following individuals were arrested and charged:
- Luis M. Torres Cortes – Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (two counts); Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the First Degree (two counts).
- Jimmy Alvarez Ocasio – Criminal Possession of a Firearm; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (two counts); Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (two counts).
- Eric Carter, Jesus Lao Santana, and Donald Swanson – each charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree; Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree (two counts); and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree (two counts).
- Hector Dejesus – wanted on a Petit Larceny warrant and additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree after being found with fentanyl.
- Jacob Trippy – wanted by the Ellicott Police Department and turned over to their custody at the scene.
Seven other individuals at the residence — Shawn Beardsley, Terrence McRae, Shane Davis, Heather Dean, Tammy Bair-Holman, Kaleb Dean, and Mackenzie Kelley — were released from the scene.
Due to the condition of the apartment, officials from the Department of Development condemned the residence.
Assisting agencies included the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Ellicott Police Department, Dunkirk Police Department, Chautauqua County Emergency Services Tactical Medics, Jamestown Fire Department, and the Department of Development.
