(WNY News Now) – A Falconer resident has been charged with criminal solicitation following a joint investigation by local and state law enforcement agencies.
JAMESTOWN, NY — On April 25, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Joseph A. Mueller, 45, of Falconer, was charged with Criminal Solicitation in the Second Degree, following an investigation conducted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division in partnership with the New York State Police.
The charge stems from an incident first investigated on December 22, 2024, during which authorities determined that Mueller had allegedly solicited another individual to commit a Class A felony against a victim. The specific details of the intended crime and the identity of the solicited party have not been disclosed.
Mueller voluntarily surrendered himself at the Chautauqua County Jail, where he was processed and held for CAP arraignment in City of Jamestown Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
