(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A 23-year-old Jamestown resident, Juan Burgos, was arrested on charges of criminal obstruction of breathing and unlawful imprisonment following a domestic incident on the city’s eastside.
At approximately 11:30 AM on April 26, 2025, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 1st platoon responded to a reported domestic incident at a residence. Upon investigation, authorities determined that Burgos allegedly restrained and choked the female victim involved in the incident.
Burgos was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is currently being held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
