(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown woman was taken into custody after fleeing officers during a street check on the city’s south side.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A 31-year-old Jamestown resident was arrested on April 25, 2025, following a brief foot pursuit during a street check conducted by the Jamestown Police Department.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., officers from the department’s Second Platoon observed Trisha EM Bull walking on the south side of Jamestown. Officers recognized Bull from prior encounters and were aware she had an active bench warrant issued by Jamestown City Court.
Initially, Bull stopped when approached by officers but soon fled on foot. A short pursuit followed, after which officers successfully took her into custody. Bull was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she is being held pending arraignment on charges of Resisting Arrest and the outstanding bench warrant.
The case will be handled in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
