(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly damaging property during a domestic dispute on the city’s south side.

Jamestown, N.Y. – On April 29, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on the south side of the city.

Upon arrival, officers conducted an on-scene investigation and determined that 30-year-old Kevin Lopez had caused damage to property belonging to the victim during the course of the dispute.

Lopez, a Jamestown resident, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor under New York State law.

Lopez is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
