(WNY News Now) – A Cattaraugus County man is facing a DWI charge following a late-night traffic stop prompted by an erratic driving report.

LITTLE VALLEY, NY – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man early Sunday morning following a complaint of erratic driving.

According to authorities, deputies responded to the report at approximately 12:49 a.m. on April 27, 2025. Patrol located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, during which the driver, identified as Jacob T. Hannahs, was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

Hannahs was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, where he was processed and later released with an appearance ticket.

He is scheduled to appear in Little Valley Town Court at a future date to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
