(WNY News Now) – A 38-year-old Lockport man was taken into custody in connection with a Cattaraugus County Court bench warrant.
LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Richard O. McLarney, 38, of Lockport, New York, on May 2, 2025, at approximately 9:40 a.m.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, McLarney was apprehended by the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office on a direct deposit warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court. Following his arrest, he was transferred to the custody of the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
McLarney was then transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment at a later date and time. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
