(WNY News Now) – A 28-year-old Olean resident was arrested Sunday evening by Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s deputies on multiple bench warrants.
On May 4, 2025, at approximately 5:19 p.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office executed an arrest on Carlos J. Ruiz, age 28, of Olean, New York. The arrest took place at an East Union Street address in the Village of Allegany.
Ruiz was taken into custody on three active bench warrants issued by Olean City Court. Following his arrest, he was turned over to the Olean Police Department for further processing. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
