(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown resident faces DWI charges after crashing her vehicle into a porch late Tuesday night.
JAMESTOWN – On May 6, 2025, at approximately 10:13 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at a South Side residence.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that a vehicle had crossed over the roadway, mounted a curb, and crashed into the porch of a home. The driver, identified as 28-year-old Limerka C. Diaz of Jamestown, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
Diaz was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail without further incident. She has been charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Driving While Intoxicated Per Se, and Failure to Keep Right.
Diaz was later released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
