(WNY News Now) – A 39-year-old Olean resident was charged with criminal trespass after allegedly entering Walmart despite a prior ban from the store.

OLEAN, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Corrie L. Williams, 39, of Olean, following a trespassing incident at the Walmart located at 2731 West State Street on Monday, May 6.

Deputies responded to the store around 3:37 p.m. after receiving a report that Williams had entered the premises in violation of a previous trespass warning issued in August 2024. Upon investigation, she was charged with two counts of Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree.

Williams was issued an appearance ticket at the scene and released. She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
