(WNY News Now) – Dernard M. Allison, 26, of Ashford, was arrested after a domestic incident, facing charges of criminal contempt and falsely reporting an incident.
Cattaraugus County, NY – Dernard M. Allison, 26, of Ashford, was arrested on May 10, 2025, after an investigation into a domestic dispute led to charges of Criminal Contempt in the second degree and Falsely Reporting an Incident in the third degree.
The arrest followed a call Allison made to local authorities, during which he falsely reported an incident. Further investigation revealed that he was in contempt of court for failing to surrender a rifle that he was still in possession of, violating a previous court order.
Allison was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled for arraignment at the Town of Ashford Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
