(WNY News Now) – Olean, NY – Two individuals were arrested early on May 10, 2025, after a traffic stop in the City of Olean led to the discovery of illegal drugs.
At approximately 1:37 a.m., Jessica A. Dodge-Gardner, 47, of Cuba, NY, was pulled over on South Union Street for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. During the stop, Dodge-Gardner consented to a vehicle search, which resulted in the discovery of suspected fentanyl, crack cocaine, packaging materials, and drug paraphernalia.
Timothy G. Polites, 63, of Grampian, PA, was also in the vehicle and found to be in possession of Buprenorphine pills. Both individuals were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office Olean Substation for processing.
Dodge-Gardner faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree (two counts), Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree, Operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle, and Obstructed Plates. She was processed and released on an appearance ticket and traffic tickets. Polites is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and was also released on an appearance ticket.
Both individuals are scheduled to appear in the City of Olean Court at a later date for further proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
