(WNY News Now) – A 24-year-old Westfield man faces charges following a physical altercation in the presence of a child in the Town of Carroll.
FREWSBURG, N.Y. – Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a roadside altercation in the Town of Carroll on May 13, 2025, at approximately 5:56 p.m.
Following an investigation, authorities arrested Devin M. Carlson, 24, of Westfield, NY. Carlson was allegedly involved in a physical altercation with another individual while a child was present. As a result, he was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Carlson was taken to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later appeared in the county’s centralized arraignment program. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Carroll Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
