(WNY News Now) – Jose G Vicente Vicente, a 40-year-old Panama resident, was arrested early Thursday morning on Jamestown’s West Side following a DWI investigation involving a child passenger.
On May 15, 2025, at approximately 1:09 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon initiated a traffic stop on the city’s West Side. During the stop, authorities determined that Jose G Vicente Vicente was driving under the influence of alcohol.
The investigation revealed Vicente Vicente was operating the vehicle while intoxicated, with a 12-year-old child passenger present. As a result, he was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown city jail.
Vicente Vicente faces multiple charges including Aggravated DWI Per Se under Leandra’s Law—a felony offense—along with DWI, failure to signal when changing lanes, failure to signal prior to 100 feet, unsafe lane movement, and endangering the welfare of a child.
He is currently being held at the city jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
