(WNY News Now) – A Cherry Creek woman faces multiple charges after her vehicle was found off the roadway on Route 394 in the Town of Poland early Saturday morning.

POLAND, NY — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Beth A. Grover of Cherry Creek in the early hours of Saturday, May 17, 2025, following a single-vehicle incident on Route 394.

At approximately 2:45 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a vehicle off the roadway. Upon arrival, they located the vehicle and identified Grover as the driver. Subsequent investigation determined that Grover had been operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

She was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI per se, and Speed Not Reasonable or Prudent. Grover was released and is scheduled to appear in Poland Town Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
