(WNY News Now) – Richard A. Goodman, 39, of Falconer, was charged with second-degree harassment after a disorderly conduct incident at the Budget Inn in the Town of Ellicott on April 29, 2025.

On April 29, 2025, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Town of Ellicott Police responded to reports of a disorderly subject at the Budget Inn. Officers arrived at the scene following allegations that Richard A. Goodman physically contacted a victim by digging his fingernails into them, resulting in a charge of second-degree harassment.

Goodman was taken into custody at the scene. He was subsequently released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
