(WNY News Now) – On May 24, 2025, Eric H. Kaminski of Forestville was arrested for driving while intoxicated after a single-vehicle accident on Dennison Road in the Town of Hanover.

At approximately 10:26 p.m. on May 24, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle accident involving one vehicle on Dennison Road in Hanover. The driver, identified as 69-year-old Eric H. Kaminski from Forestville, was transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital for evaluation of potential injuries sustained in the crash.

During the investigation, officers determined that Kaminski was driving while intoxicated and had failed to stop at a stop sign prior to the accident. Kaminski was subsequently arrested on charges of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) and failure to stop at a stop sign.

He is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date to answer to these charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
