(WNY News Now) – Jamestown Police arrested 27-year-old Dale R. Linkous on May 25 for public lewdness after officers responded to a report of suspicious behavior near the city line.

On May 25, 2025, at approximately 9:00 a.m., the Jamestown Police Department’s 1st Platoon responded to a call regarding a suspicious male on North Main Street near the Jamestown city line. Upon arrival, officers encountered Dale R. Linkous, a 27-year-old resident of Jamestown.

During the investigation, officers found that Linkous had his pants pulled down to his knees, exposing himself in public. He was taken into custody and transported to Jamestown city jail. Linkous was charged with public lewdness and later released on an appearance ticket, in line with New York State bail reform policies.

Linkous is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
