(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a 47-year-old Olean man on an outstanding warrant issued by the Allegany Town Court.
On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at approximately 11:25 a.m., deputies from the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested John A. Kiernan, 47, on South Barry Street in Olean, New York. The arrest was made in connection with an active warrant issued by the Allegany Town Court.
Following his apprehension, Kiernan was released on his own recognizance (ROR) and is scheduled to return to court at a later date to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
