(WNY News Now) – COLD SPRING, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 33-year-old Cold Spring man following a reported domestic incident on the evening of May 27, 2025.
Deputies responded at approximately 6:13 p.m. to a residence on Old Route 17 and took Kevin M. Stafford Jr. into custody. According to authorities, Stafford was charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree (a misdemeanor), Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree (a felony), and two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (misdemeanors).
After processing at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Stafford was arraigned in Cold Spring Town Court. He was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
